How do I check Rates, Availability, or make a Reservation?

To view our current Rates, Availability, or make a Reservation, click on the orange 'Book Now' button in the upper-right-hand corner of our website. You will be directed to our Reservations page which allows you to select the Dates of your stay and number of Guests. From there, you can check out our lodging options, availability, rates, and book your stay with us.

How far in advance can I make a Reservation?

Our Reservation system allows guests to book a reservation up to one year from the current date.

What are your Check-in/Check-out Times?

The check-in time at Apache Pier Family Campground & Pier is at 12:00PM, while the check-out time is at 11:00AM. It's important to adhere to these times, as they ensure that the staff has enough time to prepare the facilities for the next batch of guests. Guests who need to check-out later than 11:00AM should notify the staff 24 hours in advance to see if it's possible to arrange a late check-out. Renewal time is 10:00AM. Guests must contact the Office should they wish to extend their stay.

What are your RV/Camping Site Requirements?

What is your Pet Policy?

At Apache Family Campground & Pier, we welcome pets as part of the family. To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all our guests, we have a few guidelines in place.

Pets must be kept on a leash at all times when outside their designated area. They are not allowed in any of the buildings, including our Leisure Living Vacation Rentals. Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets, both inside and outside the campground.

We ask that pet owners be respectful of their neighbors by keeping their pets quiet and well-behaved. Barking or whining dogs may be asked to leave the campground.

Pet owners must have up-to-date vaccination records and show proof upon request. Any aggressive behavior from pets towards other guests or their pets may result in immediate removal from the campground.

What types of campsites are available?

Apache Family Campground & Pier has various types of campsites available to suit the needs of every camper. We offer full hook-up RV sites, water and electric RV sites, and tent sites with water and electric. All RV sites have concrete pads with picnic tables and fire rings. We also have several oceanfront and second-row oceanfront sites with stunning views and easy beach access. In addition, we provide Leisure Living Vacation Rentals. These rental units vary in size and amenities and are perfect for those who prefer a more comfortable camping experience. Overall, Apache Family Campground & Pier offers a diverse range of accommodation options for campers of all types.

Are campfires or grills allowed at campsites?

Yes, campfires and grills are allowed at campsites at Apache Family Campground & Pier. Visitors are free to enjoy cooking their meals using their own grills or on the fire pits that are available on-site. There are fire rings provided in designated sites where campers can build their own campfires. However, campers must maintain fires at a safe distance and stay with it until it is fully extinguished. The campground also provides firewood that visitors can purchase at the Trading Post for their convenience. It is essential to follow the Campground’s fire safety rules and regulations to ensure a safe and enjoyable camping experience for everyone!

Is there a convenience store or grocery store nearby for supplies?

Yes, we have a Trading Post in the Campground that offers a wide variety of supplies for camping, including food & drinks, ice cream, adult beverages, and more! In addition to the Trading Post, there are grocery stores located in close proximity that can provide any additional supplies that you may need during your stay. You won't have to worry about going too far to find what you need. The Trading Post has a large selection of everything you might need, so you can just head there first and see what they have to offer. If you need something that they don't carry, you can easily find it at one of the nearby grocery stores. Overall, you shouldn't have any trouble finding what you need to make your camping trip comfortable and enjoyable.

What are the hours of operation for Apache Pier, and is there an admission fee?

Please check the Apache Pier page for current operating hours. Hours vary seasonally and are subject to change depending on weather conditions and other external factors. As for admission, Campground Guests are free with tickets provided during Check-in. Pier Admission for Adults and children over 6 not staying with us is $2. During live entertainment on the Pier, there is a cover charge of $5 per person.

Which bathhouses are handicap accessible?

Bathhouses #2, #4, #5, and the restrooms at the Pier Bait & Tackle Shop are all designed to be handicap accessible. These bathrooms are equipped with features that make them compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The facilities feature wider entryways, grab bars, and ample space for movement. The layout of the restrooms is arranged to ensure that there is enough space for individuals in wheelchairs to turn around.

Do you rent golf carts?

Yes, we offer golf cart rentals next to the Trading Post. Our rental fleet includes electric carts that are regularly maintained to ensure they are reliable and safe. Can I bring my own golf cart?
